Description
This is an excellent pre-war Walther PPK pistol that was manufactured with the scarce “verchromt” finish. This finish was actually a combination of nickel and chrome. It was intended to give the metal surface a higher wear and corrosion resistance. The left side of the slide has the standard Walther Banner markings followed by the two line Walther factory markings followed by “MOD PPK. It has the standard “Crown/N” proofs on the slide, chamber area and muzzle of the barrel. The slide is fitted with fixed sights and has the early 90 degree safety, ring hammer, and checkered mottled brown Walther banner grips. It is complete with two original verchromt finished Walther marked magazines; one with the brown extension base and the spare one with a flat base.
Excellent with 98% plus of the crisp original verchromt finish remaining overall. The brown plastic grips are very fine with minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
